These creamy spicy garlic ramen noodles with steak are rich, velvety, and packed with bold flavors. Think of it as an Asian-inspired Alfredo-parmesan, garlic, and heavy cream meet gochujang, hoisin, and soy sauce for a sauce that's buttery, spicy, and just straight-up addicting.

I went with a perfectly grilled NY strip steak as the protein. The smoky char and tender beef pair insanely well with these noodles. Honestly, this might be one of my most requested recipes-and after one bite, you'll know why.

Instructions

Step 1: Season the steak
Rub steak with olive oil and season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (or Ninjacue All Day Rub).

Step 2: Grill the steak
Grill steak 4-5 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 130°F for medium-rare.

Step 3: Cook the noodles
Boil ramen noodles according to package directions until al dente (about 3-5 minutes).

Step 4: Make the creamy spicyy sauce
Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add butter, and garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
Stir in hoisin, soy sauce, heavy cream, and gochujang. Reduce heat to low.
Add parsley and parmesan, stirring until smooth and creamy.

Step 5: Serve it up!
Toss cooked noodles in the sauce until fully coated.
Top with sliced NY strip steak.
Garnish with sesame seeds and lime wedges. Serve immediately..
Hint: For this dish, I used ramen noodles straight from the pack. They're quick, cheap, and actually perfect for this creamy sauce.
Cook according to package instructions until just al dente (usually 3-5 minutes). Drain, but don't rinse-you want that starchy surface so the sauce clings better.
If you want to level it up, swap in udon noodles for extra chew.
Substitutions
If you know how to make the recipe fit a certain diet, let the reader know here. Don't fake it - only provide guidance on topics you have actual experience with.
- Protein swaps: Instead of NY strip steak, you can use ribeye, flank steak, chicken breast, grilled shrimp, or even sliced sausage. Check out my recipe here with shrimp!
- Noodles: Ramen noodles are quick and easy, but udon, rice noodles, or even linguine can be used. Each gives a slightly different bite and texture.
- Spice level: Gochujang adds a smoky, balanced heat, but you can substitute sriracha, chili garlic paste, or even red pepper flakes depending on your spice preference.
Variations
- Creaminess: Heavy cream makes the sauce rich, but half-and-half, coconut milk, or even cream cheese can be used for different flavor profiles.
- Cheese: Parmesan gives that Alfredo-style richness, but pecorino, mozzarella, or even a little cheddar can be used for a creamier pull.
- Garnish: Swap sesame seeds for crushed peanuts or cashews, and try cilantro or green onions in place of parsley.
Equipment
All you need is a pot to boil the noodles, a pan to make the sauce and any grill will work for this recipe!
Storage
Store any leftovers in an airtight container and in your fridge for up to 5 days. This dish reheats pretty well but sometimes feels a little dried out. If that's the case just add a splash or two of water or chicken broth to rehydrate!
Wrapping up

No lie-I could eat this every single day. It's that good. If you're a steak lover, this recipe is going to ruin you (in the best way). The flavors are bold, the texture is silky, and it's ridiculously satisfying.
