Ingredients
Scale
- 1 NY strip steak (about 12–14 oz)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
For Noodles and sauce:
- 1 pack ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (can sub sriracha, but will be spicier)
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
- ¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese
- Toasted sesame seeds (Garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Steak: Rub steak with olive oil and season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (or Ninjacue All Day Rub). Let rest at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- Grill the Steak: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill steak 4–5 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 130°F for medium-rare. Remove from grill, rest 10 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.
- Cook the Noodles: Boil ramen noodles according to package directions until al dente, about 3–5 minutes. Drain but do not rinse.
- Make the Sauce: Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add butter, and garlic. Sauté until fragrant. Stir in hoisin, soy sauce, heavy cream, and gochujang. Reduce heat to low. Add parsley and parmesan, stirring until smooth and creamy.
- Combine it all together: Toss cooked noodles in the sauce until fully coated. Top with sliced NY strip steak. Garnish with sesame seeds, more parsley and lime wedges. Serve immediately.
Notes
Swap ramen with udon noodles for a thicker bite.
Adjust spice with more or less gochujang or sriracha.
Works great with chicken, shrimp, or sausage if you want variety.
