You should be able to cook 2 burgers at a time. Make sure your grease tray is placed underneath the grill, then place each burger on and close the lid.
Check on them with an internal meat thermometer after 5 minutes, and then every 2 minutes after that.

For medium, I like to take my burgers to 145°F-150°F in the center. They will be slightly pink in the middle.
Once your burgers are at your desired doneness, open the lid and add a slice of cheese. Keep your lid open and allow the cheese to melt on top.

Once finished, remove the burgers from the grill and quickly toast your buns while the burgers rest.
I like to throw a few slices of bacon on the George Foreman as well. They get crispy pretty quickly. And you know what they say, bacon makes everything better!

Ingredients
- 4, 6 oz hamburger patties
- 4 brioche buns
- 1 tablespoon of salt, pepper, and garlic powder blend
- 4 slices of American cheese
- 8 slices of bacon
- Condiments (1 tablespoon each mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard)
- Toppings (Lettuce, tomato, pickles)
Instructions
- Form 6 oz hamburger patties from your ground beef by shaping them with your hands. Then season both sides with a blend of salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Preheat your George Foreman grill until the indicator light turns green, and place 2 burgers on the grill at a time.
- Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes, then check the internal temperature. Close the lid and check every 2 minutes after until you have reached your desired temperature. I like to cook mine between 145-150°f for medium.
- Once the hamburgers have reached your desired temperature, add a slice of cheese (or two) on top of each patty. Allow cheese to melt on the burgers, before removing from the grill.
- Toast brioche buns for another minute and quickly cook bacon on the grill. (can cook with the lid closed)
