Using a slow cooker keeps everything simple as you just dump the ingredients in at different times. Not only that, but the slow cooker keeps everything warm so you can serve this all day long or bring it to a get together and not have to worry about reheating.

Can you use raw chicken in a slow cooker?
Yes! For this recipe I cubed raw chicken breast and place them in the slow cooker with some seasonings, garlic and chicken stock. The low even heat from the slow cooker breaks down the chicken and the stock keep everything nice and juicy in the process.
Once the chicken is cooked through it can be shredded up easily while still inside the slow cooker. Then everything else can be added to finish up the dish! It's too easy!

- Chicken breast
- Chicken stock
- Ranch seasoning
- All Night seasoning (Or your favorite bbq seasoning)
- Garlic paste (or minced garlic)
- Cream cheese
- Buffalo Sauce
- Pasta noodles (Cellentani or macaroni)
- Shredded cheddar cheese
How to make slow cooker buffalo chicken Mac and cheese.
First cube your chicken breast so they cook faster. From there it's basically dump and go.

Place your slow cooker on high and dump in the chicken breast, a packet of ranch seasoning, 1.5 tablespoons of All Night seasoning or your favorite bbq seasoning, 1 tablespoon of garlic paste, and 1.5 cups of chicken stock.

After about 2 hours the chicken should be cooked through and ready to shred apart. I use two forks and shred them while they are still in the slow cooker.

If need be, remove the chicken and shred and then place it back in. How finely you shred the chicken is up to you. If you want larger chunks then shred until your desired size.
Now that the chicken is cooked, turn the slow cooker to low.
Cook your preferred noodles in boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and then pour them into the slow cooker with the shredded chicken.

Next add a block of cream cheese, a ½ cup of your favorite buffalo sauce and 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese. Stir all of that together until the cheeses have melted and everything is incorporated.
Cover the Mac and cheese with the lid and allow it to warm back up on the low setting for 2o minutes before serving.

Finish with a sprinkling of chopped parsley or green onions on top just for a pop of color before plating. If the Mac and cheese gets too thick add a little milk to thin it out.

The best thing about this recipe is that you can leave the Mac and cheese in the slow cooker on the warm setting and just serve it up when ready.

Instructions
- Cube chicken breast into large chunks and place into your slow cooker on high. Add chicken stock, garlic paste and season with 1 packet of ranch seasoning and All Night bbq seasoning.
- Allow the chicken to cook on high with the lid on for about 2 hours. The chicken should be shred apart tender. Take 2 forks and shred chicken while it's still in the slow cooker. Once the chicken is shredded, turn the slow cooker to low.
- Quickly boil your pasta of choice according to package instructions. Drain and then dump the pasta in with the chicken. Then add the cream cheese, buffalo sauce and shredded cheese. Stir all of that together until it is combined and the cheeses are melted through.
- Close the lid and cook on low for another 20 minutes before serving. You can also place the slow cooker on the warm setting if you will not be eating for a while. The Mac and cheese will stay warm all day long and is ready when you are!
- If the Mac and cheese becomes too thick in the slow cooker thin it out with a little milk by stirring in a few splashes at a time until your desired consistency. Garnish with parsley or green onions before serving.
