Ingredients

Scale

For the Pork Chops

  • 4 boneless pork chops (1 inch thick)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (plus more for grill plates)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tsp BBQ seasoning (optional, for crust)

For the Garlic Green Beans

  • 12 oz fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: grated parmesan cheese or lemon wedge, for finishing

Instructions

  1. Marinate the pork chops. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Add pork chops to a large bowl or airtight container, pour marinade over the top, and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  2. Let the pork sit at room temperature. Remove the pork chops from the fridge 15 minutes before grilling to help them cook evenly. Pat dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear. Optionally, sprinkle a light layer of BBQ seasoning for extra flavor and color.
  3. Preheat your George Foreman grill. Set the grill to medium heat and allow it to fully preheat until the indicator light shows it's ready. Lightly brush the grill plates with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Grill the pork chops. Place pork chops on the grill, close the lid, and cook for 6–8 minutes depending on thickness. Use an instant-read thermometer to check for doneness—target 145°F at the thickest part. Remove and let rest for 5 minutes.
  5. Make the garlic green beans. While the pork cooks, boil green beans in salted water for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
  6. Sauté the green beans. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and sauté the minced garlic for 30 seconds. Add green beans, season with salt and pepper, and toss for 2 more minutes. Finish with a sprinkle of parmesan or a squeeze of lemon if desired.
  7. Plate and serve. Slice the pork chops against the grain and serve alongside the garlic green beans. Garnish with fresh herbs and enjoy immediately.
