Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (I use 80/20)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of salt, pepper and garlic seasoning (or use my All Day seasoning)
- Slider buns or soft dinner rolls (King’s Hawaiian rolls recommended)
- 6 American cheese slices (cheddar cheese or Monterey Jack can also be used)
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup diced white onions
- 1/4 cup pickle chips
- 1/4 cup burger sauce
Roll topping:
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Use the cardboard packaging from the Hawaiian rolls as a mold to shape the ground beef patty, ensuring it fits the buns perfectly.
- Season the formed beef patty generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, or use my All Day seasoning blend for optimal flavor.
- Heat a large pan or griddle to medium-high heat. Cook the beef patty for approximately 10 minutes on each side until it reaches an internal temperature of 150°F.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a baking dish or sheet tray with parchment paper.
- Horizontally slice the slider buns, separating the top and bottom halves. Place the bottom buns on the prepared baking sheet and lightly toast them in the preheated oven for a few minutes.
- On the toasted bottom buns, layer shredded cheese, diced onions, pickles, cooked beef patty, slices of American cheese, and burger sauce. Place the top half of the slider buns onto the assembled layers.
- Brush the tops of the buns with melted garlic butter. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Bake the sliders for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.
- To serve, separate sliders by slicing them apart. Enjoy!
