Ingredients
- 10 pieces Texas toast
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons butter, divided
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt Pepper Garlic Seasoning, if cajun seasoning lacks salt
Instructions
- Bake the Texas toast according to the package directions. Remove and set aside.
- Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp, garlic, and Cajun seasoning. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan and parsley. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Spread Alfredo sauce over each piece of Texas toast. Add mozzarella and shrimp, then top with more Alfredo sauce and mozzarella.
- Place under a low broiler until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For the best presentation, sprinkle the finished toast with fresh parsley and a little extra Parmesan right before serving.
