Shrimp Alfredo Texas Toast combines Cajun shrimp, creamy homemade Alfredo, mozzarella, and crispy Texas toast for an easy, cheesy recipe everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • 10 pieces Texas toast
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Pepper Garlic Seasoning, if cajun seasoning lacks salt

Instructions

  1. Bake the Texas toast according to the package directions. Remove and set aside.
  2. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp, garlic, and Cajun seasoning. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in Parmesan and parsley. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
  5. Spread Alfredo sauce over each piece of Texas toast. Add mozzarella and shrimp, then top with more Alfredo sauce and mozzarella.
  6. Place under a low broiler until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For the best presentation, sprinkle the finished toast with fresh parsley and a little extra Parmesan right before serving.
