- 10-12 jalapeno peppers
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon celery seeds
- 1 teaspoon of kosher salt
Instructions
- Cut jalapeños into rings, remove seeds (optional)
- Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil.
- Once the liquid is boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and set aside for 30 minutes to cool.
- Once cooled, transfer to a mason jar and refrigerate. The candied jalapeños are best after a few days but can be eaten within an hour.
