Buffalo chicken bird dogs

Grilled chicken tenders tossed in buffalo sauce, topped with cheese and ranch in a bun with slaw. These buffalo chicken bird dogs are tasty!

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken tenders 
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil 
  • 2 tablespoons chicken rub/ seasoning 
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch 
  • 1/4 cup buffalo sauce 
  • 2 tablespoons of ranch 
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese 
  • 1 package of hotdog buns 
  • Sliced green onions (Optional garnish) 

Instructions

  1. Place chicken tenders in a bowl, drizzle olive oil and season with chicken rub and cornstarch. Mix together well to combine. 
  2. Grill chicken tenders on high heat, flipping back and forth for an even cook. Remove when they reach an internal temperature of 165°.
  3. Place chicken tenders in a bowl and toss with buffalo sauce. 
  4. Quickly toast hot dog buns on the grill and move on to assembly. 
  5. Add coleslaw to the bottom of your hotdog bun, then 1-2 chicken tenders (depending on size), shredded cheddar cheese (Can also melt) ranch dressing and green onions.
