Ingredients

For the Fries

  • 1 (28-ounce) bag frozen French fries
  • 4 slices American cheese

For the Grilled Onions

  • 4 large yellow onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt, pepper, and garlic seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

For the Burger Sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Bake the frozen fries according to the package instructions until golden and crispy.
  2. While the fries bake, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, mustard, and apple cider vinegar in a bowl. Whisk until smooth and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the diced onions and season with salt, pepper, and garlic seasoning.
  5. Add Worcestershire sauce and sauté until the onions are soft, golden, and reduced.
  6. Transfer the cooked fries to an oven-safe bowl or dish.
  7. Top the fries with four slices of American cheese.
  8. Broil on low until the cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from the broiler and top with the sautéed onions.
  10. Drizzle generously with the homemade burger sauce.
  11. Serve immediately and enjoy!
